Our Mission Statement:
"Premium candles are a culmination of the finest materials assembled using the proper techniques to achieve the best possible outcome. In our case, this is a candle product you will recognize right away is better than most."
The meaning behind the name, "Butterfly Blends" Once upon a time long ago in a far away place there was a dreamer who finally decided, after years and years of toil, that he would make a name for himself. He came to realize that in order to do this he must first, craft a skill and second, learn to market that skill to the public, otherwise it would all be for nothing.
But what skill, what market? He wondered there has to be a billion skills to choose from. He wanted something that used his creativity, a way to express himself, something that was cool and that most everyone would appreciate.
One day while researching he came across the concept of candles. He searched every type of candle, every size shape fragrance type and price range. He perused the popular websites as well as many of the hundreds of work at home candle maker websites. He went to the mall and bought candles, bought candles from websites and compared there quality, fragrance throw size shape and prices. Looking at every detail he began to invent his own line of products based on three primary quality issues: 1. Visual appeal, 2. Fragrance Throw, 3. Wick Performance.
With a wax formula created the testing begins. It actually never ends he adds... "Excellence is the never ending pursuit of improvement"
During a warm afternoon drive from North Carolina to Tennessee he was thinking about what to name his product. It was a gorgeous day, blue sky, big white puffy clouds and lush bright green grass along the side of the highway that cuts through a rugged mountainous forrest of dark green oaks, populars and spruces, a no-mans land. It's as close as you want to get to heaven before going there for good. During the drive a Monarch butterfly crossed paths with his car and without time to react the butterfly was killed, to make it more traumatic, the butterfly was stuck under the windshield wiper blade a sight you just can't ignore.

Facts: Monarch Butterflies
The Aztec believed the adult Monarch butterflies to be the incarnation of their fallen warriors, wearing the colors of battle.
The monarch makes its migratory flight at speeds of up to 11 miles per hour. It travels 16 or 17 feet above the ground.
The longest recorded flight of a monarch butterfly is over 3,000 miles. While migrating, it can cover 80 miles a day. |
He pulled over and removed the delicate creature from its tragic end. He walked the butterfly to the edge of the forest and placed it in a serine place, the shade of a large popular tree. Knowing that soon nature would remake this little creature into food for the hungry and maintain the circle of life (Lion King - can you hear the music?)
Back in his car, it finally made sense; the butterfly does not have to die for nothing because he can live on in this new venture. I will call my product Butterfly Blends, he exclaimed to himself...
